I was also contemplating testing with Total Commander, but CAB Manager is one of my favorite tools so it was the one closest at hand at the time. Yes, she liked it. Hope she liked it! :-) BTW, instead of the WinCe CAB manager trick, I have used the Voyager file utility (http://www.hfrmobile.com/app_Voyager_T1/index.htm) to overwrite the hidden/read-only file properties of files in the \Windows directory..
